The supply crisis of bottled soybean oil in the market has not subsided. Due to this, bottled soybean oil is not available in retail stores as per demand. Due to this, there have been allegations of higher prices in some places.

Sellers said that the supply of bottled soybean oil has been reduced by almost half compared to normal times. They have to buy soybean oil from dealers in a way that is similar to 'rationing' (limited quantities). And since they have to buy it at a higher price at the distributor level, the retail price has also been increased slightly. However, it is within the maximum retail price (MRP) limit written on the bottle. However, there have been allegations of charging more than the MRP in some places.

This supply crisis of bottled soybean oil has been going on for about one and a half months. Basically, oil companies are releasing bottled soybean oil in smaller quantities than before. Oil refining companies have demanded that the government adjust prices in the country as well, stating that oil prices have increased in the international market.
